Friends of the Boat Club

The Friends of the Boat Club was founded in March 2013 with the aim of providing financial security for the club, as well as providing a platform for old members and friends to keep in touch after leaving Oxford University.

St Benet's Hall Boat Club has run on the generous donations of individual private sponsors for many years. The idea of the Friends of the Boat Club has been inspired by the other Oxford College Boat Clubs involvement of alumni and supporters in similar schemes. The Club hopes that through the development of the scheme training facilities, coaching, and equipment can be maintained and improved. The Boat Club is the central social centre for many in the Hall, providing opportunities only those accepted to a Oxford University College can experience.
